Trigger upgrade

I have been thinking about swapping out the factory trigger on my Remington 870 stock one feels pretty gritty and heavy, has anyone here done trigger upgrades on their shotguns? I am looking for recommendations on decent aftermarket options that won't cost me a fortune

I swapped mine for a Timney Trigger Fix and it felt like trading gravel for buttered toast. If you’re tight on cash, MCARBO spring kit does wonders without gutting your wallet

Thanks for the rec, that Timney sounds perfect but probably out of my budget right now. How hard was the MCARBO spring kit to install? I'm decent with basic gunsmithing but nothing too crazy

MCARBO's pretty straightforward...basic punch set and maybe an hour if you take your time. Their videos walk you through everything step-by-step, and it is doable for someone comfortable with basic work
