Everyone told me hunting was hard but nobody said how hard. I thought I'd get something first season easy. It took me three years to fill my first tag. What part of hunting did you underestimate as a beginner?
I didn't think patience was that big of a deal. I thought if I worked hard, I'd be good. It took me a while to get okay with sitting still, and it was harder than hiking or shooting.
