Anyone hunt whitetails in the Black Hills last season?

I hunted whitetails there last year and it was something else. The woods were thick with random open spots, making the deer hard to predict but when they ran, they really ran. I had a couple of really close calls that I still think about. Did anyone else hunt there last year? I will like to know how it went for you
